I couldn't sleep this morning. I don't know if it is because it is Thursday and my body is programed to wake up at 5:00 am or if it is just because it is Christmas. I hope everyone gets what they asked for and more.
So last Friday we went to the new doctors appt and loved her and the office. It is so much nicer than the last one. Here's how it went. We got there early like 2 o'clock to fill out papers and didn't get to go back until about 3:15 because she was delivering a baby so we get back in the room and I am getting that lovely gown on and the nurse says " I see you've had an abnormal pap before". What no I never have!!. She looks thru the records from my old doctor and finds someone else's records in with mine (just another reason why we left the other doctor). So the new doctor comes in and is asking all the questions and asks if she ever ruled out multiples. Kevin tells her he is an identical twin and she says let me go get the ultrasound machine just for peace of mind. She does the scan and measures the ONE baby and see that it is measuring a different due date than June 13th. It is measuring June 23rd. So we got back on Jan 5th to get an official due date. There was also some talk about what sex the baby is b/c Kev kept asking her if she sees anything...she saw something but I am not going to say b/c it was just her guess. We might get to find out on the next appt if not for sure the end of January. She also did the heartbeat which was our first time to hear it. It was 162.
