We finally might have made a decision on the crib. After months of online pre-shopping and numerous trips to our local stores and down homes stores it is down to 2 totally different sets. We sat in the soon to be nursery and had the pictures, tape measure and the phone for second needed opinions. (Thanks Nicki for helping us! You have put up with my never ending comments on every single crib in the Richmond and Hampton Roads area). The pictures aren't that great of an example until you see the other pieces that go with each crib. We are probably going to buy the dresser/hutch combo also. So the plan is Sunday to go to USA Baby and order which can take up to 8-10 weeks. Plenty of time since this is week 18. Should put it here around middle to end of March. Although Kev and I do have a random track record for furniture delivery. It seems what can come up does and that is why we are ordering this weekend. No baby bedding yet though, can't seem to find anything that I like that isn't 400.00. I picked out this great bedding and researched the price only to find that the 4 peice set is at USA Baby for 600.00 but Nicki found it online for a cool 307.00. I think I will keep looking.
Kevin's banquet weekend officially kicks off this weekend. For those of you that think his job is slack most of the year, this is when he earn his keep Jan-April every weekend is booked except Feb 14 and that is just b/c nobody wants to have their banquet on Valenitnes day. He even has one on his 40th b-day Feb 7th. I wanted to have a big party for both Keith and Kevin but I think he scheduled that one on purpose. Keith also is working that night. One might say they are avoiding 40!!! Have a great rest of your week everyone.
