New highchair

So I made sure we did not get a highchair that was big and plastic and one that would take up our whole kitchen. So my coworkers all purchased for us the Eddie Bauer dark wood highchair that I really liked. But...a few weeks ago Mallory has been slaming her head on the back of the chair and Kevin had mentioned he was concerned it would hurt her head. I at the time didnt think anything of it and thought the chair was fine. Over the last few weeks she has really been hitting her head more and more so finally Kevin convinced me that we did need a new chair. So I looked around for a highchair that was not big and ugly and I found a few that I liked at the Target. I also had in mind that its not like she will be in the chair for years to come so I also didnt want to spend alot on it. I went tonite to the Target on my way to Mallory's school and bought a chair that is cushioned so she can not hit her head. Here is the bad news we put it together as soon as I got home and the tray when you pull it out comes all the way off!! Boo! I am so used to the other chair that when you pull the tray out it stays attached. Also its like she was leaning back to eat. With the other chair it was wood it didnt recline so she was sitting straight up. I think I will give it another day we will see how it goes in the morning. Or else I might have to call Target and see what their return policy is on items that are already put together and buy option #2 which was a little more money of course.

Seems like a silly post but is what is going on in my house right now!
