So around 4:00 daycare called and said "I wanted to call before you got here to pick up Mallory because we had a little accident. When Mallory was playing with the toys this afternoon she was bouncing and fell over and hit her EYE on a block." First thought was my daughter was going to look like Rocky. So I had to wait another 30 minutes before I could leave work to get her. When I got there I had to go thru the book fair and then the director walked with me to her class and told her teacher to cover her face. When I went in there it wasnt close to what I had thought it would look like. Cant wait to see what it looks like tomorrow. Nicki and I were going to take her picture this weekend for her birthday invite. I might have to choose one that does not have her photo on it.
So I mentioned that Kevin's last banquet was last weekend but I was wrong. This weekend is his last one until July. I must have forgotten because it is Keith's banquet and that makes it a little easier. There seems to be alot going on this weekend:
1. Richmond Nascar race ( im out of here traffic nitemare)
2. Kenrucky derby ( i havent missed in 20 years)
3. Sally's b-day (Kevin's mom)
Since I am helping Kevin at the banquet I will miss the Derby but I going to TIVO just not the same as live. Jim and Suzie are going to put Mallory to bed Saturday night. I am crossing my fingers that she goes to Suzie. Last time we visited we had a serious case of stranger danger but ever since then she seems to be getting better.
