1 year check up

Kevin took Mallory yesterday to her 1 year check up. I couldn't wait to see how much she weighed. It seems like she is getting heavier when you carry her but naked it looks like she is thinning out. She weighed 22.2lbs which is in the 60% percentile. Kevin was also asking about these spots she gets on her face that he has been concerned about lately. The doctor said its eczema. She said she could grow out of it and I had it as a child and grew out of it. The bummer is that hers is on her face. No cure just keep putting cream when she gets a spot and hope she will grow out of it too. Mallory got her chicken pox and 1 other shot also. Here the exciting thing...around 10:55 pm she was waking up in the monitor and I heard that noise. The noise of her getting sick. This chocking cough sound will forever be in my brain since when she was sick with that crazy stomach thing in March. I knew right away last night that she had gotten sick. She had got sick all over herself and the crib. "Kevin come in here quick". He carried her to the tub I gave her a bath while he cleaned her bed and changed the sheet. I felt so bad for her she was shaking and crying. After I got her out of the bath I wanted to get her warmed up because she was shaking so bad. So I laid with her in our bed under all my covers which I secretly loved because she never sits still long enough to snuggle with her anymore. But that didnt last long she was warmed up and feeling herself again in no time and we put her back in her crib. She got sick a few more times last night but nothing like the first time. We took her to school today knowing it was the shots because she really didnt eat anything she hadnt eaten before so she did fine today at school she really didnt eat anything but who does after getting sick all night. I even made her a piece of toast this morning Kevin was looking at me like I was crazy. Hopefully tomorrow she will eat better.

This weekend is our 6th wedding anniversay. Time flies when your having fun! We will probably just be low key and go to the lake so Mallory can swim in her float. Maybe we will get wild and crazy and go to dinner with Mallory. Eating dinner with the older people at 5:00 is fine with me. Got to get home before bed time. This is our new life wouldnt trade it for the world!!!!
